Barley and the Dots

I bought these cool magnets the other day because we have a metal door now and it's boring. Also, it's a handy place to hang things we need to remember to mail (Netflix, bills, etc...) so we remember to grab them on our way out. Or leave each other love notes. You know, because we're so romantic. Turns out that Barley's a fan. He's generally pretty quiet, but he's started making more noise now (although VERY quiet - nowhere near Bill volume!) and a few times since I put these up he's sat at the door, meowed at the magnets, and then attacked. Anyone want to start a poll on how long before the gets the bottom ones knocked off?

Barley fell asleep half on Pete and half on the couch.

We bought this green feathery toy for Barley because we decided that he needs
toys to entertain himself while we're asleep. Every time he plays with this one, he tears a little chunk of green off. Sometimes he eats it, and sometimes you can see little green fluffs if you look closely at our carpet!

Barley and the TV

Pete and I paused a DVD, and this little oval bounces around the screen and changes color every time it hits the edge of the screen. Barley likes it. Sorry the lighting sucks, I probably should have passed this video on to Pete to touch it up.

Barley and the Shoe

Pete isn't home tonight, and tonight I don't even get treated like the last resort! Apparently my shoe is better company - Barley's been hanging out under the futon all night, even though I try to bribe him to love me by giving him lots of treats.

ETA: Only five minutes later, and now that I'm getting ready to go to bed, Barley has decided to come out and run around the house like a madman. Of course.
