Cause Determined of Internet Shutdown

Dorchester - Around 1:30 PM a mysterious event occurred at the Chocolate Factory - sudden loss of internet. There was recycling of modems and routers, restarting of desktops and laptops, and leaching off the neighbor's unprotected wi-fi to live chat with tech support. Comcast pinged the modem and determined that it was fine, and the problem was the third party router- which they can't troubleshoot.

Pete took matters into his own hands. One more recycle on the router, and still nothing was working. Pete plugged directly into the modem to find that no - there was nothing coming from the modem. The only light on was the "standby" light. After closer investigation, Pete found a button on top of the modem labeled "standby" and decided to see what would happen if he pressed it. Lo and behold - the internet was back in action.

The cause? None other than our beloved Barley, who had been spotted near the scene of the crime just prior to time of the lost connection.
